Mission Leadership Council

Our MLC begins with a report from each of the Zone leaders concerning their zone goals. They meet individually  with each companionship and decide together how many people they feel they can baptize in that month. The goals are made with the 80% chance of accomplishing them based on past performance and available resources.  This past month our goal was 30 people baptized and we actually had 24 baptisms, which is SO wonderful! We are so proud of the efforts of every missionary and grateful for the love, effort and example that our zone leaders, district leaders and training leaders give to everyone in this mission. 

We introduced an new way that those who are being trained and also those who are trainers can be held accountable for the first two transfers in their mission. Each person has a document on google sheets that they mark each day. It contains a basic checklist that every missionary should be doing. The assistants, Pres Nakken and myself can view what is recorded each day and respond to anything that might be a struggle. 

We introduced a program where we are asking members in each area to consider someone they would like to give a Book of Mormon to for Christmas and the mission will engrave a hardbound copy with the person's name on it. We hope this will be a great opportunity to encourage members to work with us in sharing the gospel this Christmas. 

We also roll played what a review of the Book of Mormon looks like instead of a product review. 

Urgency was emphasized by Pres Nakken and Elder Anitoni shared how to lovingly give correction to other missionaries.
